I just made that distinction because I used to live in a place that had bars called The Office and The Library.

If you're a college student and your parents called and asked where you were last night. You could honestly answer The Library.

For husbands, if their wives ask, they could honestly answer The Office.

Clever, don't you think?

Very clever indeed. I take back my sarcasm.

Georgia's Tech is better than Louisiana's Tech. But that's not saying much.

although they have never, as part of the ACC, beaten an SEC team in a bowl, they had a coach named "Cow"

My dad went to Georgia Tech. He hated it so much that he transferred to LSU, where he met my mom. So, if GT didn’t suck so much, I wouldn’t have been born. Thanks Georgia Tech!

Although they have not beaten LSU in over 40 years, they have had a couple of close games w/ us.

Getting through GT is a little bit like boot camp. You hate it while you're going through it, but afterwards, you get an immense sense of accomplishment and pride for making it out. Close bonds of friendship/respect form between alum because of the shared experience.

Not quite the college experience that most kids look forward to, but a rewarding one nonetheless.

they are based out of atlanta.

and atlanta has little 5 points.

so that's nice.

oh, and atlanta is close to athens, which trumps atlanta 10 fold.

So close, Rza32!

Just a slight revision:

GT fans have a very accomodating anus for being arse raped by Tigers.

Subtle difference...

Can't find much bad to say about the 1998 ACC Co-Champs.

Some of yall don't appear to be getting the joke.

See, the idea is to say something positive, that only subtly ends up negative, once you start to think about it. For instance:

"Georgia Tech has more good looking women than the Naval Academy."

See how that works?

Like this one:

quote:

Tech fans make the best Dungeon Masters

...is hilarious. Very well done. This is pretty good too:

quote:

They let Rudy get his sack

OTOH, this:

quote:

Get ready to receive a beat-down from a 7-5 team

..is epic fail.

How about "they (LSU) play in a real conference, and are 4-0 verusus the ACC in the Peach/Chic-fil-a Bowl". Soon to be 5-0.
