Later on the first page I said the season wasn't over and lsu had time to make a run at a top 8 seed. I said that I was in a "show me" state of mind with Mainieri.
Guess what, he's shown me that he can get it done in the postseason. I couldn't be more happy. I'm on cloud 9 right now because of what this team has done this week.
Hats off to Mainieri and his staff, and
to the players. Excellent job, men!

Meh, he reacts to adversity differently than some but he's not a dumbass. At least he's acknowledging he was wrong. There are plenty people who were shitting on the team and Mainieri within just the last week that won't come back
