"Just because you win a championship doesn't mean you don't have to do the right things."

Saban won't be going on a barbecue and book tour.

He can at least shop around for a job for Javi.

Saban rarely if ever hires Javis and Malvetos, but the one time he did, Major Applewhite got shipped quick..no hardheadedness involved..just quick assessment..and action.

And unlike LSU's current HC, when CNS heavyhands into his expertised side of the football, the results are #1 ranked Ds..not LSU's poor offensive rank five of the last six years.

The two new hires (Henry and Raymond) this year would be history under Saban after one season. There are other weak links on the staff that probably in all honesty wouldn't survive on a Saban staff as well. Saban doesn't tolerate the "Great recruiter-weak football coach/teacher" BS like Miles does.

What are you basing your opinion on that Raymond and Henry are busts for hires???

I'll give Raymond a pass, but the receivers under Henry stunk and most regressed. If you paid careful attention to the routes the receivers ran, you would have noticed how sloppy they were. No excuse for that.....you don't need an ounce of talent to take pride and run crisp routes.

I don't disagree he has some sick D's. But he's known as a DB guy and honestly IMO (which isn't worth dick) the secondary is the weakest link on their entire team year after year...

That would have been nice. But it looks like he has gotten it back in gear now.

You mean the ability to build a good bed of coals and make brats pop wouldn't be enough to make several hundred thousand a year managing an underachieving part of the team?

Saban doesn't tolerate great recruiter, bad coach/teacher

Burton Burns says hello. Saban had always put his worst Coach, but good recruiter as the RB's Coach.
