Paul Finebaum gloating?

I can only imagine. I will not watch him this week, but admit when I was still delusional enough to think CLM would have a winning strategy, and LSU would beat Alabama on Saturday (as recently as last week), I was anticipating watching Finebaum eat crow this week.

This. The guy is a MASTER at playing to his audience and getting people riled up and talking about him. He has made a good living out of it.

Actually, he isn't. I was born/raised in Birmingham, and when I was a student at Alabama, I was convinced that he HATED Alabama. Actually, he just hates coaching incompetency. (Bill Curry)

He's a Tennessee grad and a Bama fan. I can't remember where I saw the quote, but I heard something along the lines of him saying Tennessee wishes it was Bama or Alabama is the program thinks it is. Back from his school days.

A direct quote from his own mouth, back in Aug: "the 3 national championships Alabama won were the 3 greatest days in my life". Another, 2 wks ago: when Yeldon scored on that busted coverage screen pass " I was in that end zone and almost ran out & kissed him". He goes to every bama spring practice. He's on bama's sidelines every game he attends. He's been over "to Saban's house too many times to count". "Coach Saban often calls me in the off season for PR advice". "I am picking Alabama to win tonight because Alabama has the best coach in the country": 3 days ago. He wears his "red Alabama tie" to every game he attends. As well, he called B.R. "a toxic waste dump" several yrs ago. He's just trolling, right?
