did you read the last comment from the you tube commments section..

LOL. Nah. I avoid that kind of crap when it comes to sports. For example, I NEVER go to the SEC board anymore, nor would I want to read a bunch of Bammers discuss a game they needed to cheat to win. The simple fact that we had a lead on them in the 4th quarter, at their place, with a bunch of backups at skill positions, tells me all I need to know about their team. Couple that with the Colt McCoy injury....and well, you do the math.

ETA: I've also have yet to watch this replay. No point in it. They are going to cheat next time we go there too.

Now, when it comes to politics, I'm a sucker for punishment. I'll read the other side's BS no matter how infuriated it makes me.

Also a question if Peterson and JJ were in contact at the point hhat the ball arrives, does that automatically make Peterson out of bounds

Yes. It's single hand touch when one of the players is out of bounds.

If ya'll think that call was terrible, get ready for an arse rape, because we have to go to the plains again.

My bold prediction is we get screwed there, yet again.

We likely still would not have won the game.

SEC had decided at beginning of season that Fla & Ala would play for SEC title garanteeing an SEC team in the BCS championship. This was one 5 calls in the game that were make or not made all in Ala favor. Fla Arkansas and Fla LSU refs didn't try to hide that fact. SEC denies but only and idiot would believe otherwise.

but the key point in the decision not to call it an interception from the replay booth is the official on the field had no fricking clue what happened.

he's a high school referee

No, he's an Alabama resident with the supervisor that was allowed in the booth, Basically his fricking boss, was in the booth with him offering "assistance". His boss is documented to be a PAID speaker at AL alumni events and has a deep history of Alabama sports among those being in the Alabam Hall of Fame.

It was pure outrite cheating and that is why the call didn't get reversed, the replay official was being assisted by and ALABAMA guy which was his boss!!!

The next time we face a close call in a big SEC game, Miles should pull the ref over and simply say, "Patrick Peterson, Alabama." Translation: "You OWE ME you motherfricking maggot."

No it does not. It was a legal interception and the call was blown.

It's not nearly as bad as the mugging y'alls defender put on our receiver in the endzone 2 years ago and then intercepted the ball with the official looking right at it, and never moved toward his flag. You do remember that, don't you?

Rule 4-1-3-p apply
(A.R. 2-2-7-I-V and A.R. 7-3-6-IV).
1. If one foot first lands inbounds and the receiver has possession
and control of the ball, it is a catch or interception even though a
subsequent step or fall takes the receiver out of bounds.

the question is, did he show control of the ball with the first foot down? The second is obviously inconclusive enough not to be over-turned. either way, fast forward this thread to six years and fans will still be whining.
