He hardly dominated Green and he gave up some big plays.

I think Peterson is better than Webster and I am a big fan of Webster's. We'll have to wait to see what PP runs at the combine, but I suspect you will see that he is faster than Webster and both have excellent size and ball skills. Also, PP may be a better tackler although I would like to see some footage of Webster in college before saying this for sure.

Cassanova was an incredible athlete and could have played more than 6 years in the NFL if he desired. Heck, I think he made the Pro Bowl in 4 out of his 6 years including the last one AND he made the college football ALL-CENTURY team. Unreal. Anyway, I am almost certain that Cassanova is more accurately called a safety than a corner (especially in the pros). I cannot recall him in college - did he play more corner then?

Peterson is the best player in the country. Hands down. Bar none. Maybe the last several years.

arrakis, my man, he dominated Green, go back and look at the game, he physically manhandled him. Grenn caught a couple of passes on him. One is where he pushed off, to which PP threw him to the ground like a rag doll and immediately started complaining to the ref about the pushoff. and i think the other was on a release to the safety probably PP thinkin they were in a zone coverage, other than that he dominated him.

If PP would've been on that last UGA touchdown, AJ wouldn't have caught it. Not to take anything away from Hawkins, it was just a height thing. Hawkins couldn't have covered that pass any better than he did.

Doubt it was a height thing, since they're both about 6'1". Gary Danielson mentioned how Peterson has longer arms which makes sense when one looks at the replay.

I have the video saved...How about the one where he bit on the fake and GA scored on 4th down? How about the long pass play down the sidelines on GA's last scoring drive? Those are in addition to Green's catches. How many would you like me to post?

You are right he has only started 8 or 9 games and he shut down the best WR in the SEC maybe even the nation. If he get better the longer he plays this kid will be considered one of the greats!

Green best WR in the NATION now?

5 rec 99 yards is shutting someone down?

Also, What happened in the last drive of the game where he let the other UGA reciever blow by him? It was his blown coverage not the safty.

I agree he is very good but come on all this BEST stuff is a little crazy...

how about the knock away of a TD from being out of position behind Green who is 6'5", and the other knock aways, like going down the sidelines with Green step for step and being in perfect position to break it up.

a lot of times Cox couldn't throw Greens way because he was blanketed, but you wanna complain about a few isolated incidents, do you know how hard it is to play DB? I know, I played in HS, and this is the SEC we are talkin about, he is doing that against probably a sure first round draft pick in AJ Green.

the receiver always has the advantage because they know where they are going, you don't, I say bravo to PP for the excellent job he did because before that Green was tearing it up.

Hookfin was posted as a joke. Or else the original poster is not subject to random drug testing. Dude was beaten on a regular basis.

Webster had the best D-line in LSU history playing in front of him. I love Webster, but it is much easier to cover when pressure is being put on the qb.

I think PP has the best skills of any corner in LSU history, but doesn't have the most accomplishments, YET.

and you know because you went to HS with me, right? I love the rant, idiots calling BS on others all the time, everyone is an expert. I take it you know how hard it is to play CB because of all your vast experience in the armchair room. It useless to argue with you guys, you clowns see what you wanna see.

AJ Green is a phenomenal receiver and Peterson did a great job covering him, not many will this year.
