I dont follow NFL much other than former LSU players but why don't the Cards use him on kickoff returns?

He should work on his tackling and coverage skills. Folks not real happy with him in AZ.

he's also been getting burned and using poor form tackling guys, trying to shoulder tackle people instead of wrapping up. i think most of his problems are because of the fact that he was so much more athletic than people in college. he could use poor technique and be overly aggressive and dominate college receivers. he's hitting quite the learning curve facing nfl receivers. but yeah, he's already proven to be very dangerous in the return game.
that offsides timeout was pretty embarrassing too

Kickoff returns aren't allowed in the NFL anymore

He needs to train in the offseason with Nnamdi or Revis. He just needs some technique to go along with his talent. He can't manhandle peeps in the NFL like in college. Give him a couple years and I still say he's an All-Pro.
ETA:
Eric Berry was having the same learning curve before his injury, but getting much better. He was just more gifted than college players as well.

Not many CBs come into the NFl ready to dominate that is one position that takes at least a year.

How is Kelvin Sheppard doing?

Yeah, he got abused this weekend it seemed. Missing tackles, getting burnt. Twas not pretty. BUT, he will learn. STEEP learning curve at CB in the NFL.

Good for him, but frankly I'm not surprised!

Hope his brother can return punts like that at LSU. Haven't kept up with Avery. Anyone know if he has that speed and those moves?

The guy is getting thrown on a lot though.
Good for him with returns, still think he will become a free safety.

He needs time. It is tough going from playing college players to facing NFL's best WR game in and game out. I did have to chuckle seeing him shying away from contact from AP a few weeks ago. AP also took he for a good ride
LINK
Shying away from the hit, but AP still decides to give him a something to think about
He will be great at all aspects in time

I Love PP like every other LSU fan but that stat is boosted by his 89yd TD punt return. In his 10 other returns he only averaging 8.6 yds which wouldn't rank in the top ten...

this, its crazy to see how quick people here will jump at an opportunity to criticize.
