Same thoughts here.

I've also heard that Eric Reid (who is very smart, not talking football smart, just very smart) wants to get his degree.

Which would make him stay for his senior season. And with TM back..... woooooo.

I don't want to get ahead of myself but that would be huge.

Is he just coming in for the games and going back to Houston after the games?

Heard two ladies behind me at a HS game today saying he was in a bar after the game last night. Had to move before I went off on em. Not good for someone in recovery to be in a bar and it pissed me off that these two would be saying this.

More moron "fans."

So these "geniuses" are in a bar too? And the only thing they can say was he was there. No "he was pounding booze, he was nice to people, etc." None of that, just he was in a bar.

Dumbasses thinking they know everything. "Well, we weren't there but I heard it from yadda yadda......" That is what they would tell you if you called them on it.

Can't just give the kid props for trying to get his life straight. Have to make up crap.

I have no doubt that he takes what he's going through seriously.

If he does comeback next year the anticipation to see him play again will be brutal in the summer for us tiger fans.

Hope hes doing well, and given what's alleged to be his history, I hope he stays out of bars and avoids temptation to do anything that would further jeopardize his recovery and future.

Bowtie- which sideline did you hear that on? Considering the number of LSU coaches wives sitting in the U-High stands, I wouldn't assume it was random moron fans.

If you're not willing to correct dumb fans then you shouldn't be allowed to complain about them.

And I don't mean to be insensitive but it's just a license plate brah

Me too, captain, but he's not. Because he can't. If he had the strength to do it he'd have done it before he was kicked off. I know some will say, got to hit rock bottom and all that stuff, but the truth is, nine out of ten who hit rock bottom stay there. Here's hoping he'll be that one in ten.

Sad but true. The Odds are not good for staying clean. But he does have postive motivation to get the job done ie back on the team. It's a day by day one step at a time process with many pitfalls along the way. Hope he is able to conqueror his demons and get on with his life.

and yet you do? those ideas make some sense actually. sorry you cannot use some common sense as to that just MAY be what happens. It is not far fetched at all. Now the NCAA has no say so in this but he does have NCAA eligibility left last I checked.

If the kid can lay off the "illegal" drugs, there's nothing wrong with a college kid going to a bar and having some drinks. I can almost guarantee you that we have some more players on the team who will smoke weed during the offseason and hope that they don't get caught.

This goes on at every major university across the country, this is not unique to LSU. He's got to drop the people in his life that have a bad influence on him. I had friends in HS and college who drank and did drugs. When it came time to going out, I chose to hang with the guys that just did the drinking. It's a personal choice that only he can make. I wish him the best and think he can overcome this. JMO.

I have to disagree. For someone with extensive alleged issues like TM7, I would think it would be imperative for him to stay away from anything that could be an undue influence. Sobriety night be his toughest goal, apparently based on what's been said here.

Did anyone who actually SAW him see if they made him cut/or do something with his hair? They usually make people in rehab tone down the narcissism and work on being more humble. If I was John Lucas that wouldve been step one to kill the "honey badger' ego

News flash, it's a free country and people are allowed to speak as they wish. Unfortunately, they often sound stupid doing it.

We wondered if TM was either at the game or watching somewhere. Either way it had to tear him up not actually being IN the game.

As the mother of a son roughly the same age as TM, I hope that he gets his life back on track and stays that way ... and then gets back to football.

I wonder if there's going to be this level of TM7 stalking on the board throughout the year? Oh, wait. Rhetorical.

Icansee4miles, it was the OTHER side, so I know they had no clue. These two are big Southern University fans.
