Close to 3600 for me and under 500 yards rushing. LSU will be balanced and push the ball down the field.

Over 3500 passing
Over 600 rushing

What are the betting lines on this?

He had some atrocious games last year & still threw for 2900

That’s almost 300/gm in regular season. Not impossible, but he could do it. He definitely gets there with 2+ post season games.

On the 12 game schedule I think Daniels easily eclipses 3,000 yards passing. 3,500 would be just under 300 yards a game and I think its more realistic that he averages 275 to put him right at 3,300 yards during the regular season.

Over 3500 passing
750 rushing

To eclipse last year from 2900-3500 isn’t that much of a stretch. Plus a few of those games he was absolutely dog shite. Arky, Aggie. I think he gets it together and goes over 3500

I’ll guess 275 yards passing per game and 55 yards per game rushing.

Last year he was at 208/63

I think his passing is much improved and his rushing numbers suffer a bit due to that. So I’ll take under on 3500, because 275 per game comes to 3300.

Are we talking regular season 12 games?

It’s in the thread title. I missed it, too, and had to edit.

5500 passing, 1500 rushing. He will also throw a TD pass to himself too. Book it.

I don’t see JD throwing for 300 yards for 12 regular season games. He isn’t in a run and shoot spread offense.

300 yards for one or two games . I might believe that.

Over/Under Daniels throws for 3500 yards in the regular season

The dude threw a ridiculously pretty deep ball his freshman year at Arizona State. For some reason he just didn't trust his eyes and didn't want to take any type of risk last year.

I think a full year working on that and gaining comfortability with his WR corps opens that up. The most beautiful thing about it, especially with our talented OL and deep WR room? That also opens up plenty of opportunity to take off running in man coverage if we start stretching defenses out of zone.

I'm going to say he's going to have 3750-4000 passing yards, around 500 rushing yards, and 35-40 total TDs. Is that high expectations? Absolutely, but I think it's readily out there for him given we basically only "lost" Boutte on the offense.

Dude should be ridiculously good.

PS: We might be in for some shootouts as well this year with the D depth/talent we lost last year. I trust them to be good, but there's some questions on that side of the ball that may make offensive stats inflated this year.

EDIT: This prediction is that we see more of a 12 game stretch out of Daniels that we got in three games straight last year - UF, Ole Miss, Bama. It's not that farfetched if he can just replicate that success weekly and stay healthy.

Lol 4,100 total yards isn’t a scrub season. If he can do that and we run the ball.. watch out on offense. Pressure would be solely on defense

I'm a big Daniels fan, but I take the under. He'll get pulled in blowouts, and our running game will be better.
