I understand it's only one game but how confident are y'all in Donte Jackson going forward? After watching Greedy last night I personally would rather KT and Greedy on the outside.

What has Toliver done so far at LSU to prove he should start over Jackson in this scenario?

And i'm not a huge Jackson fan.

Nothing at all, I think people remember his freshman year but forget how bad he really was when he did play last year.

nothing. But at the party I was at last night people talked like he was the second coming of Peterson.

Outside of tolliver not getting his head around last year, which was a big issue I know, he was in damn near perfect position every year. Donte relies on his speed way to much imo and gets burned bad enough to where he can't recover from it. I really liked what I saw from Greedy in what little we did see. I think Jackson would be better in the nickle personally

So, you want to take our best CB out and replace him with someone who can't find the field bc of issues he created and a freshman that played in his first game last night?

How stupid of you.

That defensive backfield will be crowded.

Yeah, maybe Greedy should be playing over Toliver.

We'll see, though. All those guys will be on the field a ton this season, as we'll play a ton of nickel and dime. It doesn't matter that much. It'll play itself out.

Vincent played better in coverage than Greedy

Yea I'm not saying toliver doesn't deserve some criticism for last year but really his only issue was getting his head around. If he can pull his head out of his arse this year and get back on the field I think him and Greedy on the outside and Vincent and Jackson rotating in the nickle will be our best lineup. I just don't trust Donte when we get to the meat of our schedule

Greedy played great last night. Him and Taylor were the freshman that impressed me the most.

That interception by Greedy....he blanketed WR and turned to find ball to make pick. Tolliver seems to not have mastered that "find the ball" part of defending.

Yea I was impressed. He had the WRs pace down by 10 yards then turned around and found it. Impressive for a freshman

This was my biggest takeaway from the game. Taylor is a man. Chaisson is a man. Delpit is a man. I LOVE that freshmen can come in and immediately make an impact.

Correct. He just needs to turn his head at the last second. His coverage is there

Let's see.....go with Aranda's decision or with a TD.com poster's reasoning?
