We are gonna be okay boys.

Dude will defend the perimeter like we haven't had in a couple of years. And he can finish.

Naz will rotate to the 5 I'm sure, but he will be primarily a 4 imo.

It can not be overstated how important it will be to have a shot blocker at the rim. Not saying it solves all the problems, but having a rim protector will allow us to be a little more aggressive on the perimeter (and hopefully avoid having our perimeter players get drawn in and giving up open kick out looks).

Waters/Mays
Smart/Mays
Sampson/Days
Naz/Williams
Bigby-Williams/Naz

That lineup will be so sick.

Those rebounds and blocks are something we’ve had absolutely none of this year.

A big strong 6’11” rim protector is exactly what we need.

I'm assuming your left column is projected starters?

I've seen several similar projected line-ups. What I don't get is how people are assuming Sampson is going to start next year and over Mays who I believe has to be a starter. Without looking at the stats, I'm guessing Mays is averaging right at or over 30 minutes per game and has to be 2nd or 3rd on the team in minutes played with a huge dropoff after Mays, Waters, and Reath. I get Sampson is a wing, but do you really think that over the course of the off-season, the guy who's likely 6th or 7th on the team in minutes is going to take the place of a 2-year starter who's played 3/4ths of the minutes of all games played since he's been a Tiger?

Simms averaged 5.6/2.9 in 17 minutes . KBW should easily eclipse that.

Look no further than the Jones teams with Mickey. We played HORRENDOUS on-ball defense but Mickey's ability to swat just about everything made our defenses with Mickey seem somehow competent.
