How can you watch previous LSU WRs and not gauge WR speed better?
Football players’ 40 yard dash times are the most exaggerated metric of all, even more than heights. And fans often refer to a tim like a 4.45 as “sub 4.4” when obviously it’s not. Pro-Day times are one thing. Let’s see it at the combine. Somehow most run a little slower at the Combine, because that’s accurate.

God help us if Nuss gets hurt.
We’re in about a billions times better position than last year if it happened.
Swan look like he never played football before when he came in last year.
Van Buren is legit. I feel really comfortable knowing he’s there if Nuss goes down.

I think The kid from Miss St wouldbe a solid backup and he has more running skills so I could see them inserting more of a JD package if that happened. And he didn't have near the talent at Miss St that we have. Could still win some games with him especially if the defense becomes elite..

Uhh brother you do know Hilton, Watkins and Brown alone are 4.2 to 4.3 guys right?
Don’t bet on that because you would lose your shirt. The shite folks believe is amazing.

Very hard to get more than 4 involved .
Gonna need some to be “good teammates”
Absolutely
Rotate like we did with RBs when we were 6 deep
Less injuries and fresh legs going into the NFL
The NFL will always find the skill position players from LSU

We've got to have the fastest WR group in CFB
Hell, I would like to see how our wr group ranks among nfl groups as far as speed is concerned. I know for a fact that we have more speed than numerous nfl teams have.

You do know that players are electronically timed and have been for a while now right? It's extremely accurate. They also run 40 times without pads and a helmet without being contacted/defended and they're also running in a straight line without having to think about anything else besides running as fast as they can? Their times are legit. There's just a difference between football speed and track speed, which is what 40 times are.
As far as LSUs wrs are concerned; many of them are former track champions or at least competed at a high level growing up and in hs. It's not far-fetched and is very believable that they can run the times that they've been clocked at. We are talking about some of the best athletes in the country. They're absolute freak shows that are simply blessed from birth with the abilities they have. It seems like you're comparing extremely gifted athletes to some people you're used to seeing play ball at the Y or something lol.

You make a lot of good points, but I disagree with when you say, “Their times are legit.” They are the opposite of legit. Their heights are measured by a ruler with perpendicular piece on top that shows the exact height. And yet they routinely say they are up to two inches taller. Watch the combine times. On average, they are far slower than the hype coming in. And the reality is that a guy who runs a 4.42 forty at the combine is blazing fast - he’s just not sub-4.4.
