Our fans think we're supposed to win every Basketball, Football, and Baseball game.

Life or people aren’t perfect. The women’s basketball team just won the national championship. Fans turn on players and teams so fast that every time we lose a basketball game, football game, or baseball game, it’s like the world ends. When it’s time to play in the tournament, coach Mulkey will have the team set up and the point guard issues under control. We have a bipolar fan group. It’s just a game.

Stop being dramatic. No one is “turning” on anyone. The defending national champs with most of their key players back and several huge transfers just dropped a game in which they looked terrible to an unranked team.
If that happened in football they’d be much worse. The fans are rightly questioning some flaws in this squad.

They will survive a basketball loss. They believe that the players and the whole team are perfect. If they believe that, they set themselves up for failure because it never happens. If they bet or add the team to the parlay, then that’s what we call betting.

The women’s team just won a national championship. If you think every team isn’t playing like it’s a national championship game, well, I don’t know what to say. We’re getting everybody’s best game. When it comes time for the tournament, we’ll be ready.

Are you perfect? Do you never miss work or school? Have you ever failed a life test? Have you ever been late for anything in your life? Do you expect every shot, every free throw, every foul to be made? Do you expect people to be perfect when they're not perfect? Is it just a game? I want my LSU sports team to win every game. But is that realistic?

If it were women, I would understand. But the vast majority of you are 30-40-50-60-70-year-olds whining about losing a women’s basketball game. In every game a team plays, there’s a chance they’re going to win or lose. Even if you’re a favorite, the refs can make a difference. Some of you are acting like this is your first rodeo.
