Stupid is as stupid does. As long as we live in the U.S. we'll have to put up with dumb people saying dumb things just to prove they're dumb. Les Miles is a great coach. He deserves LSU and LSU deserves him.

So just who do you think built and maintains Tiger Stadium, the football complex, pays the coaches salaries, etc?
If the fans aren't deserving, after being the reason and the support for LSU football, then just who the hell does?

Saban is a good coach, at a great program. Miles is one of a very few who've managed to stay competitive with him. Pretty sure Saban would absolutely love it for Miles to leave here, so he could remove one of the few threats he faces each season (Miles would take awhile to establish himself at Arkansas, and we'd be floundering along with someone like Sonny Dykes).
Legit coaches would not come to LSU; if they refused to pay Les, who's PROVEN, why would they pay competitively for someone UNPROVEN? Further, even if we did ante up, why would someone leave a secure job to take a gig at LSU, where the administration showed it didn't value the job Les has done enough to retain him? NO ONE would take a job on the condition that ONLY a national title is "good enough". Les has one, in two appearances in 8 years. That would not be "good enough"; so the first loss you have jeopardizes your future.

People that come here and bitch about a coach winning 81% of his games coming off a 10 win season and probable top 5 ranking playing in a conference which is going through a stretch of domination that will go down as the greatest in college football history are not fans. If these people represent the majority of our fanbase, then I'm embarrassed for the coaches and players of my Alma Mater.
