Our defense will be the key to victory

All three levels are elite. We don't have to make OM one dimensional to win. We can beat them in whatever defense we line up in. I still think we have a spy most of the time.
Their offense is above average with their athletes. We just don't have multiple threats outside of their three playmakers

Weeks and dottery will both take turns spying and bring pressure to keep ole piss on their toes

Will have to be disciplined in pass rush lanes against TC, which they have never been under Baker
Also will have to defend the back shoulder throw which they will see a lot.

The last few seasons LSU was very undisciplined on the D edge.Unless the tigers maintain their rushing lanes and don’t crash inside they can be successful.They haven’t deep able to do that in the recent past.

Nah. They’ve got more than just 3 playmakers on offense. Just because we don’t know their names or aren’t familiar with their games, doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Their TE is a playmaker. He’s a WR/TE hybrid like Trey that they move around a lot. He’s not as good, obvious, but he’s a playmaker. He’s not beating Pickett in man, but if they can scheme him on a LB or another advantageous matchup (for them), he can hurt us.
They’re offense is going to make a few big plays. But so is our defense. And I just don’t see them being able to consistently move the ball on this defense. I think almost all of their offense comes on big plays. If we limit those (especially early and take the crowd out a bit)—and our offensive turnovers (which right now seems like it may be a big “if”)—we could pull away in the 2nd half and win convincingly.

Defense wins championships and big, emotional rivalry games.
A dominating defense does this:
Limits amt of points of opponent.
Limits time of possession of opponent.
Provides our offense with turnovers and good field positions to score.
What really makes a difference in an away game, a dominating defense takes the crowd out of the game ! Geaux Tigers !!
