I agree with you but that’s a problem lol cause you gotta be able to cover as a LB at any level

I’d love to see him on the field, but there’s a stupid amount of talent ahead of him.
He can play 4 games and still redshirt. Makes ZERO sense to not take advantage of this new rule for talented players like McCallum.

At building depth, yes he was. It’s not my fault you can’t figure that out.

Wait, is the narrative now that Miles was the bad LB recruiter? Chief is getting a pass these days and we passed that buck to Miles? If I remember correctly, John Chavis absolutely bombed at recruiting the position and we warned A&M fans about that when they gloated about getting him to College Station. Then we had a transition year with Steele which wasn't great for recruiting continuity, and then Aranda, under Miles and now Orgeron, seems to have righted that position in recruiting.
Also, every one of us was jacked when Chavis got that 5* LB Garrett that never really worked out. Not the same talent level as a Perriloux, but similar affect. Land a major recruit like that at a key position and then have them bomb out, and you are kind of screwed for depth there for a few seasons because of how you had your recruiting focuses lined out for the following 2-3 classes. Just my two cents.

I see Divinity being a pass rusher from the ILB position. They loved sending DW40 through the A gap, and i expect Divinity to do that even more now. I don’t think he will be a coverage LB by any means. Phillips will still be the best ILB next year IMO
This guy gets it. Divinity is going to be The blitzer... just like Devin was last year. Phillips will be the inside guy that cleans up...
Chaisson coming off the edge, divinity coming up the middle. Divinity got all the practice he needed last year rushing the QB
Before the end of the year it will be chaisson/queen/Phillips/Divinity.

Just know we have some stud linebackers.
Philips, Divinity, Queen, and Chaisson are going to be monsters then you throw in Anthony, Clarke, and thornton along with the others... Its a great problem we have in baton rouge
