Right. Bama takes them out of the playoffs and they think they’re equal to Bama somehow. Really, they just get to see more of what it’s like to have to play them each year.

Our playoff starts each year with the Bama game. No one else who is competing for Championships has it as difficult as LSU having to play Bama, AU, and UF each year.

If we include 2000 (because that’s the only way to make it a close comparison):

OU: 1-3 in Nattys with the last appearance being 2008 and the last win being 2000, including a head to head loss.

LSU: 2-1 in Nattys with the last appearance being 2011 with the last win being 2007, including a head to head win.

That’s pretty even, with the edge going to LSU with one more ring and a more recent appearance and win, plus a head to head.

While we all know if LSU played in the XII, they’d be in the CFP every year (like OU gets to do bc of the weak conference), the SEC is several levels above any other conference and our playoffs start in the regular season since we have to play 3 consistent contenders each year (AL, AU, UF) and another in rotating seasons and in the SEC Champ game (UGA).

It’s rough out here in the South...but OU fans seem to feel like they have to prove they’re better than everyone already knows they are.

The OU fans are just defending their team like we would if the roles were reversed. They may be a bit more delusional than us, but OU football is all that state has sportswise.
But, I’ve got nothing but respect for the state. They are one of the most based, conservative states in the country. ????

What's funny is they like pointing out the game Ehlinger had early in the season. While he did have a good game statistically, if both teams played now, LSU would annihilate them

Where to begin? So many things wrong with this post.

1. OU would have dominated LSU? Doubtful, split the games at best.

2. LSU is Auburn level program? If you mean a considerable program in the SEC, which happens to be the toughest conference in college football, then yes.

3. "Near the OU's and Bama's" ... I'm not a Bama fan by any means, but this is just insulting to all the cousin frickers. You honestly think OU is a Bama caliber team?

Princeton has the most natties followed by Yale and then several other schools, none of whom is Oklahoma. You can throw out those ivys because they were so long ago, but if recency matters, well.....maybe Oklahoma is the one that's not top 10.

Biggest douchebags around. I remember being in our shuttle to airport and speaking to driver about game. Entire van was full of arrogant spoiled OU fans except my father and me. One of the woman had the nerve to tell me to shoosh because the majority of van didn't want to discuss the game. I then mentioned to driver how enjoyable game was and it was almost as enjoyable watching that bitch stew as I gave the driver very detailed highlights from my biased point of view. Despite helping that lady and her husband with their bags, they refused to tip driver and told him he should be more aware of his passengers. Under his breathe you could hear him call her boomer bitch
