Other than playing the game at home, what other advantages does LSU have v Bama?

I'll say our kicking game is better, even with a down year. I'd call the defenses pretty even and the offense is definitely favors Bama by a long way. What say you?

You'd be wrong, but you have a better DL and better ST.

Fewer letters. Even the shortened version - Bama- has one more letter than LSU.

Plus, we can leave the caps lock on.

Nah, he'd be right. Also, our ST blows in every facet so far.

Bye week ... Bama needs to hope they can escape Moo U without any significant injuries.

There is something that occurred here, and I believe I have witnessed it.

We have almost 2 weeks to work on what Bama. does best...They can;t work on what LSU does best....We arn't doing any thing that good right now. Advantaged LSU...Now if we can beat the Alabama Refs. we can beat Bama.

LSU's offense is vestigial at this point. At best will score the odd TD here and there, but generally exists to give the over-worked and under-appreciated defense a blow. Sadly, this year's defensive iteration is not so good as last year's. The LSU kicking game is pedestrian at best. No big plays, missed FGs and Brad Wing is no better than any of an assortment of sub-conference punters. He used to be a real weapon, but now it is hoped that he just won't shank it.

So, LSU's advantage is vis-a-vis Alabama is pretty much the D line and maybe linebackers. Not much, but it will have to do.

I would say defense but its a wash. Their DL will have the edge on our OL. Their line is good enough to negate any big advantage our DL has.

Last year it was special teams but we've been mediocre. I personally think they can be passed on this year. The only problem is we can't pass.

Crowd keeps the tigers in it though.
