If you think the D is underwhelming, I’d love to hear you describe what that awesome offense brings to the table.
And that “awful” front 4 was recruited by our DL HC. And he promoted a grad assistant to replace him once he got the HC job.
I think Aranda has done an amazing job considering he has to scheme around the restrictions O has put on him. Not to mention an albatross of an offense they have to carry on their backs with turnovers and stellar play.
I could keep going but I’m getting tired.

But when he was at LSU he had a 10 Defense. His success at LSU is the sole reason he still coaching.

Say that Coach O goes 10 - 2 this year, next year the bottom should not fall out but give him an 8 - 3 yr. And Coach O is not signed. No other way to look at it but he was run off. Does Coach Aranda really want to coach for such a fan base? Coach O has a legit chance to go 11 - 2 against the pre season's hardest schedule.And idiots still want him gone, the same idiots who file out of TS at half time,i.e. real fans!

This is dumb, 1st, Aranda is likely gone this year, or if we are lucky, not until after next. DCs as young and talented as him don't stick around longer than 3-4 years.
Orgeron hopefully wont get an extension after this year, he should however be given a damn good bonus if we get a new year's 6 bowl and go 11-2 or 10-3. I think we probably start contract extension negotiations after the Bama game next year, doing so before would not be good. The only way I would do it this year is if we have to raise O's salary in order to raise and keep Aranda. But even in that case, I want O given a raise, not an extension yet.

This was my thought to start the season, but O has convinced me that he is better than I thought. However, take Aranda out of the equation, every coach would have a harder time, the guy is that good. I hope for our sake that if/when Aranda leaves, O can still be as successful as he has been, but if he isn't as successful, I hope the drop-off is dramatic and quick. Don't want a few seasons of 7-5 football, I rather a season of 3-9 and start the search up.

Who wants Orgeron to get an extension? I, like many, enjoy Coach O and am really pulling for him, but I haven’t run into anybody who wants to offer an extension.

I totally agree, Orgeron would be nothing without Aranda. In fact I would give Aranda an extension before giving an extension to Orgeron.

Who is to say that was a "bad" opinion? Coach O fans who think he does no wrong? Not saying I agree with the OP, but he has the right to post an opinion.
If voicing a poorly-informed opinion was a prerequisite for getting banned from TD, quite a few posters would be in trouble, including some Coach O fans.

The LSU offense is ranked 89th. Hiring good coaches is his job. The only bright spots on the team is Aranda and amazing talent on both sides of the ball
