Orgeron needs to cut this “share the reps” crap

We are 4 weeks away from the season and Orgeron is having all 4 QB’s take meaningful snaps in practice, that is not smart. Who cares who’s feelings get hurt from not feeling like they are part of the “QB battle”. Joe burrow came here for a reason and he looks the part in all the practice videos I’ve seen, and he has the size to match where Brennan does not.
Btw if you’re mad about the Fulton case look no further than Joe Alleva who had his hand in the conversation with the NCAA and probably botched it for LSU like most things when he puts his hand in them
Joe burrow is LSU’s best option and needs to most reps to get ready for a schedule that consists of Miami, Auburn, Georgia, Bama

At least narrow it down to 2 which I'm pretty sure he will after Sat scrimmage.
No way he's running Narcisse out there first game against U in that environment.
Brennan - would be nice to redshirt him if the rest stay healthy, that would give him two years to follow Burrow before the next wave comes in Peter Parish and TJ Finley.
I think it will be Burrow and McMillan (will have a role to utilize his RPO).

There is no reason to name a starter until camp is done and you start working on the game plan for the first game and at that point you only have to tell the team. We as fans do not need to know what the decision it is until 9/2.

Those videos are such a great indicator at who is doing the best in practice
. I know we all want Burrow to come in and take over the job, but who knows Burrow might not be the messiah we think he is or Mcmillan actually might be a good qb.

You don’t have to name a starter. But Narcisse doesn’t need the same number of reps. O is trying to keep everyone happy while not maximizing the small amount of practice time they get.

I'm not worried about reps at this point, let them all get a feel with other players. After this week, I'm sure the majority of reps will be focused on 2 guys.

Novel thought: maybe they're all actually pretty good in their own way, and we really DO still need to give them equal reps to see where they land because we don't yet have a clear cut winner?

Or maybe that’s what he tells the media? He is on the hot seat. All the coaches are out of here if he gets fired. You think they are sharing reps evenly to keep people happy? No. But they aren’t gonna announce the starter or leader at this point and upset someone else publicly. The team will know by next week who their Qb is. Nobody else needs to know.

at least by next week they nee to cut it down to just McMillon and Burrows. Now way Narcisse or Brennan are going to, or are ready, to start.

No one knows what happens during “closed” part of practice. So what is done as far as reps go, and what is said about reps, may not be the same.
