The offense did play better at seasons end, but the level of competition the last 3 games of the regular season wasn't college footballs finest.
Bama: 16th in total defense, 33rd in pass defense, 19th in run defense, 12th in scoring defense.
Arky: 79th in total defense, 87th in pass defense, 70th in run defense, 108th in scoring defense.
Rice: 103rd in total defense, 125th in pass defense, 69th in run defense, 112th in scoring defense.
A&M: 32nd in total defense, 98th in pass defense, 3rd in run defense, 47th in scoring defense.
UCF: 95th in total defense, 49th in pass defense, 118th in run defense, 36 th in scoring defense.
We've been through this dozens of times and it's apparent you just want to turn your back on each teams seasons stats and rankings.
And before you get on your high horse and whine to me about belittling o and his team, this is not belittling o or anybody. These are facts. Plain and simple.

Well gosh Roger, you're the guy that keeps telling me my posts that are filled with facts about the football program since o took over is bashing or belittling him and the team.

How many of Mikes QBs threw for over 390 yards in a game regardless of competition? Or averaged 300 yards over 4 games regardless of competition?
Just curious, if it's just bad defense you think we would have seen a lot more of it, eh?

Interesting. So 395 is easy vs average defense, yet it wasn't accomplished early in the season or any previous seasons. Averaging 300 over 4 games is easy vs poor defenses yet it hadn't been done in almost 20 years.
It looks to me like you're demeaning a fantastic performance. 2nd in LSU history just to keep someone else's narrative alive.

Absolutely true. I don't know why this is so hard for the person you responded to and a couple others in this thread to understand it.
