Just as quick glance, Michigan has ranked ahead of LSU in every year. Does that prove Michigan's DC is superior?

So Brent Venables and Don Brown when he’s not playing Ohio State

It doesn't prove anything. Talent and strength of schedule factor largely into those rankings. The style of offense also plays largely into those rankings. Chavis had top SEC defenses almost every year he was at LSU. A huge part of that was the offense Miles ran, which killed the clock and limited defensive minutes. As soon as Chavis went to A&M and Arkansas his defenses went to near the bottom of the SEC.

Here’s the stats comparison between Aranda and Venables for their entire careers as DCs. Aranda 308.2 yards per game allowed 17.5 ppg allowed Venables 321.9 ypg allowed 19.5 ppg

Don brown has only been at Michigan since 2016. Before that he was giving up more yards per game than Aranda by a wide margin including 428.2 in 2013. And Michigan hasn’t ranked ahead of us every year or ahead of Arandas defenses at Wisconsin every year. In 2014 Aranda had the number 1 defense in the country Michigan was 6th and had a different DC.

No I actually used scoring defense but the numbers are correct. The list isn't wrong.
Yes it is. Youre using pre bowl game.

“BUT, even then, there are far too many variables to say he's inarguably the best.”
What’s funny is you’re using these “variables” only one way. The context in your narrative can only go against Aranda not with him since you’ve just said that facts don’t prove anything. If that’s your attitude then why not just say I believe he’s not the best just because that’s what I want to be true? Facts and stats don’t matter and you will not allow context to support Aranda only to denigrate him. Pretty much what I expected.

What facts?
No one here has "denigrated" Aranda. He's one of the best at what he does.

I'm using the numbers from the regular season. I can't help it if you don't like it. The world doesn't revolve around little ricky. When you post numbers you can dictate the criteria that you decide to use. Have a great day.

Hey,everyone knows aranda is the weak link in our big 3. Just check any sycophants post history and youll see Aranda beings questioned 5x more than O or Ensminger.

At LSU, his defenses have averaged 15th in total yards.
It certainly proves he's elite, im not sure you could say it's the best

Youre using fake numbers. UCF isnt 36th in scoring defense.

They do revolve around accurate information.

Youre posting inaccurate and wrong information. You know UCF isnt 36th in scoring defense.
