Just like defending the offense NOT getting a first down.

Like somehow the option of not iceing the game was a better one than icing the game.

We couldn’t get 10 yards. We needed 10 yards and were kneeling our way back to BR with a W.

if we were playing to waiste time and pint, it’s the same overly conservative approach that’s bitten us in the arse before.

But that’s not the case. We were trying to get a first down and just couldn’t. That’s a failur on the offenses part.

We win as a team and we lose as a team. All of you trying to blame the offense aren't team players. So disgusting.

They try to start some fake Orgeron vs Aranda bullshite and it doesn't work.

It's like dealing with middle school girls

I would've never believed that they're that mature.

If I cut Off your left leg and break your right toe, don’t tell me the toe is why you’re walking funny.

The offense was a problem all year.

It remained a problem through 4 quarters of the A&M game.

The offense had the opportunity to win the game as much as the defense and didn’t.

Which is easier getting a TD or getting a 3 and out?

They have been trying to start this division for a long time, it's really retarded. Same argument, different day.

That's not always easy to do when everyone in the stadium knows LSU was running the ball. O went conservative and we loss to a team we should have beaten---AGAIN!

The offense went conservative AGAIN in the forth OT from the seven by running three times and kicking a FG without trying one pass.

Trying to place the blame on the defense just shows how desperate these clowns are to protect their O fan boy club.

Ben and Roger circle jerk rolls along.

Same bad arguments, same high fives.

It is fun that y’all spice up you’re relationship and add Tiger Ree to the mix.

It's a team effort, but the defense did blow it at the end of regulation

No one ne can deny that.

No. I understand football.

Deep in Our own territory

So - run the ball at the 34 on first.
Run the ball again at the 35 on second.

Run the ball AGAIN at the 40 on 3rd.

All against a defense that has been exploited all year and per the Cheerio's, LSU didn't have a stud RB.

If you think 34 yard line of your own territory is deep with a touchdown lead, only needing 1 first down to end the game.... then you don't understand football - unless you're in your 60s. Then you do understand football, the same version of football that Ed and E understand - that loses games like this.

Except that when our defense held them to 3 - we only got 3 and when we stopped their 2 point - we failed to get the 2 point.

Absolutely enough to play conservative and run clock, yes. It's what most coaches would do

The odds of them driving to tie were minuscule.

Only a drama queen who hates the coaching staff would dismiss the final drive against the odds to tie the game.

Most coaches would rely on their strength to win a game. Up a TD you try to run clock and force them to drive the length of the field with as little time left as possible. We played conservatively running three times bc our defense was our strength.

I liked our chances having to make them drive 90 yards with very little time left and the highest paid DC in the country...great position to win right?

Where did you see me trying to place the blame on the defense?

You probably don't read well.

We? What position do you play?

You have reading comprehension issues too. It's been constant blaming the offense. Or blaming O for going conservative. Going conservative was supposed to be the safe thing to do and if it had worked we wouldn't be having this conversation and you all would be O fans now. Posting stuff like Ree.

I think people just wish for once the offense would let the defense off the hook. Why is it always up to the defense to swoop in and save the day. We always give the ball to the defense to ice the game.

Some teams are good enough on offense such that they put the ball in their hands to ice the game, because they're that good at scoring. It'd be cool if that happened at least once.

I think people that you think "blame" the offense just expect a lot more out of the offense than you do.

There's been a lot of blame thrown around. Blame on the offense, the defense, the coaches, the refs. It's all pretty silly. No one thing is responsible for a 1 point, 7 OT loss. LSU had chances on offense and defense to put the game away and didn't. End of story.
