This is just dumb. To think that a head coach doesn't have the final say on players that the staff bring to the table is just being an idiot.
Every head coach relies on the staff to recruit, the head coach makes the offer and closes the deal. Burrow said O was relentless in his pursuit and that went a long way in getting him to BR.
The hate for O on this board rivals Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Like it or not, the 2019 season was glorious with Ed at the helm. I'm glad it happened.

Burrow was so good that it made O think part of that success was his to claim. Got to his head and here we are coming off of a blow out lose to K State with a WR playing QB.

Ensminger doesn’t get the credit that he deserves. Everyone acts like Joe Brady was steering the ship all season long and that he taught Burrow everything he knows. Very exaggerated. Look how Brady is doing since he left LSU because he was too good for college ball.

Burrow was here with Ensminger and no Joe Brady in 2018. He also had Jefferson, Chase and Marshall. How come our offense didn't look close to the same?

Burrow was just looking for a place to land after being beaten out at Ohio St. I mean we can give O the credit, but the real credit goes to Lil Urbby Meyer for being a complete fraud.
