I still don't understand what was going through that kids head.

Not to mention all of the Oregon fans who cheered when they thought it was a pick (understandable) but then went batshit crazy when he rolled on the ground then got up and ran it in. I had to give the Oregon fan next to me WTF stare for sure.
It was sort of the whole BS mentality they brought to Dallas.
After every fumble all their players frantically signaling it was their ball.
Cheap shots, Leg whipping, etc., sort of a win-by-hook-or-crook approach.

I guess that BS has worked well for them over the years in terms of getting officiating gifts though. Ask the Sooners.

He did what any player with half a brain would have done in that situation. In fact, if he was able to process the "f*ck with L Lee's head" idea and get up and run as quickly as he did, he has much more than half a brain.

I have no problem with it at all. His job is to play football and let the officials make the calls.

give me a break. you dont actually believe he was like "oh you know what would be fun..to frick with lee's head because he threw a bunch of pick sixes back in 2008."

talking about a stretch.

In my opinion, it depends if the referee blew the whistle calling the play dead. Players are instructed to continue playing until the whistle is blown. The call on the field was an interception (which subsequently was overturned). However, watching on television, I could not tell if the referee blew the play dead because the safety's knees were down. On television, it appeared that one of the referees continued running down the field. It was clear that his knees were down. If the whistle was blown and the player continued running down the field, a penalty could have been called.
