So you think if the threshold for Oregon State winning or losing comes down to the LF?

I'll say this again. Take out Duplantis and put in Jordan. Could there be a possible drop off and maybe just maybe could cost us the game with Duplantis's bat and fielding not in the game? That's all I'm sayin!

In all honesty, this could be a big loss for oregon state. Anytime you lose a starter in the field and in the lineup, you lose a piece to the puzzle. They have only lost 4 games the entire year with the starters they have had. They also play small ball and don't score too many runs usually and depend on their pitching staff. Losing their ace pedophile pitcher right before the cws is definitely going to hurt them. Watch and see. So you would feel good about LSU losing both alex lange and antoine duplantis both within a week right before the cws? It's gonna hurt them in some form or fashin and I wouldn't be surprised if it costed them a game somewhere in the cws. Jmho.

It's called team chemistry. ANYTHING that messes with team chemistry is a serious distraction for a team even if they say it's not

So what happened to LSU's chemistry when Peterson was suspended?

Pat Casey says Christian Donahue is suspended for a violation of team rules.

Well things are looking up for them...at least he wasn't suspended for violation of a 6 year old girl. Whatever this dude did will pale in comparison.

By the way the dude in question here is Christian Donahue. He has started 40 games this season, batting .258 with just 18 RBI, a .932 fielding percentage and has the worst BB/K ratio among the regular Beaver starters. He is not in the Omaha team picture so he may not have even made the trip due to whatever rule he violated.

With that said, he hasn't exactly been the best piece on their team.

Please stop!! Now you comparing us losing Peterson for one game to them losing their starting LF? Peterson is not a starting pitcher nor a starting position player that could in any way mess with the chemistry of this team. Just stop man

Haha, you can't compare LSU losing peterson to osu losing their starting left fielder, who plays in the field every game and bats in the lineup every game too.

He was slated to start the day after he got suspended.

Which makes you wonder what his backup looks like.

FYI: He's batting in the 8th spot at .258 on the season and was 3 for 7 with 2 runs scored in Supers.

Donahue is a Junior and it looks like his replacements are either Preston Jones or Elliott Cary.

True Frosh Jones batting .300 (only 20 ABs) with 13 runs scored.
Redshirt Soph. Cary batting .236 (89 ABs) also with 13 runs scored.

On the bright side, they've got a ready-made excuse for losing to LSU after we beat Florida State.
