this might get ugly if DT was in the car with him, and then you have a university employee giving special treatment, however petty, to them.

So sick of this "excuses" crap being brought up. IF YOU RECRUIT PLAYERS WHO MAKE QUESTIONABLE DECISIONS, THEY MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY FOR YOUR TEAM. It's cause and F-ing effect. It's not your competition's fault. They could have recruited the player as well, but chances are quite a few schools past them up because of their checkered past. If you want the players who give your team the best chance to win, don't pick players who have assaulted police officers, for instance.

I know it's not the Oregon fans bringing this excuses crap up time and time again, mostly Lsu fans and Espn jerkoffs, just sick of hearing it.

NCAA about to drop a bomb on UO's arse.

Oregon sends this to the conference and a punishment is doled out. The NCAA isn't going to do anything unless they determine they need to do some sniffing around. It would take months for a shitstorm to hit and that is if there is a compliance issue in the AD.

The lady that rented the car was an employee but not part of the AD. I don't believe Oregon is running a loose ship. This seems like a dumbshit not understanding the rules and not lack of instituional control.

This unto itself is not bomb worthy. If they find nothing else while looking into this (and keep in mind they are already looking at Lache's recruitment) Oregon will slap their own hand and the NCAA will be content.

My understanding is that Oregon got an inquiry from the NCAA regarding Lyles. It's part of broader investigation into street agents. Oregon responded to said inquiry and to date there is no further investigation.

I wouldn't be too comfortable yet. Once the NCAA starts sniffing around they keep digging for a while. I'm not saying there's something for them to find, but I think it's premature to assume it's over until the NCAA officially tells you they are satisfied.

Can you say IRRELEVANT.

Which part did he not understand? He surely knew the speed limit was less than a hundo, right? He knew he shouldnt be driving that car, right?

If he dosen't know the institutions rules, that classifies as a lack of institutional control.

I really don't know if we'll ever get that. It was an inquiry and not an investigation. From what I can glean, there may never be any finding directly related to Oregon. I am being told that a report on street agents is going to be issued by the NCAA. My guess is there are rules regarding them and 7 on 7 camps coming down the pike.

He probably didn't realize that because she was an employee of UO that it constituted a benefit regardless of his reimbursement. That is obscure enough that it wouldn't be considered lack of institutional control. Sometimes, even the compliance officers have to dig to figure out if it's a violation or not.

You were the one saying the NCAA will be content with a slap on the wrist.

Personally, I hope Cliff gets a 2 game suspension that includes LSU. He has too many prior citations and I don't want any kid to be more important than the program.

Oregon sends their finding to our conference. Those findings are reviewed by the conference. I doubt this goes any further but our AD is expected to have a press release this afternoon.

How many current non-AD female employees of Oregon are spreading their legs for Oregon scholarship athletes?

Classy. Our non AD female employees are mainly lesbians here in Oregon. Go fish.
