Not Spam. A valid point.

Ask Lunitik why he has my name in is signature line... then misquotes me. And HE brings up Tommy Moffitt in every post by misquoting me.

Here's my valid question again:

TigerLunitik -
LSU receivers had the highest rate of dropped passes in the SEC in 2018. Even worse, LSU receivers had the 157th worst drop rate of all 165 Power 5 teams.

Tommy Moffitt has the team about one-half of the year. Does Tommy Moffitt get at least half the blame for this horrible drop rate?

How about you reiterate how mature Trout is for not caring about this stuff Roger.

Half? No.

The HC is 100% responsible because it's under his watch. He's allowing it to happen and hasn't replaced this coach who you deem to be a huge detriment.

I think it’s irrelevant to 2019. I mean It happened, so it will always be relevant to someone.

I think it has been proven thru 2 seasons that you cannot compare the 2 situations.

It's only relevant that he's still doing some of the same things with the Offensive coaching staff as he did then and getting some similar results. Hopefully that changes this season with Joe Brady.

There are facts to support opinions that like O's coaching-- last year's wins over Miami, Auburn, Georgia AND facts that support dislike of O's coaching-- last year's loss to aTm and going back to Troy, lack of points and offense against Bama.

Agreed. Arguing and debating those points, honestly, can be fun and informative. Assuming we all have the same goal in mind...LSU winning titles...there's no harm in holding either position and defending it honestly.

But, as you can see, guys like me are just TOLD we want LSU to fail because we have issues with the coach. You simply can not have any constructive debate when one side refuses to accept at face value the common trait they both share.

It's the best part of every season, isn't it? That hope you have deep down that it'll happen. Trust me...deep down we all feel the same thing, or at least hope for it.

But now these people suddenly have an issue with it.

Someone accused Rick of being a liar about it. Examples were cited. I didn't get the sense that anyone was all that upset about.

I'll laugh my arse off if this works.

However, how can people be upset about the process and still pick 11-1 outcome for the season? It seems like a conflict.

Orgeron and Ensminger have both been here many years with Moffitt. If they thought there was an issue, then they probably would have addressed it. I think they are more knowledgeable about this than the two of us combined.

If anything, I would contribute it to the revolving door at WR coach.

How can people say he's doing "everything right" and still claim that 10-2 is unfair to expect? It seems like a conflict.

The topic was throwing players under the bus, not coaching acumen. Someone made a claim that another poster was lying and examples were cited. All coaches throw players under the bus at this level of sports. We're trying to compete for championships, if the players are too skinned for it then GTFO.

I think you're still having issues with the definition of the word "expectation."

Based on his personnel and the personnel of our opponents, 11-1 is the expectation of an average coach coaching that team.

Last time I provided links I got accused of "snipping" by you. Why would I give you more of them now?

Don't bite the hand that feeds you Roger. I'll just let you continue to wallow in your ignorance. You sure do seem to enjoy it.

Wrong, Roger.

Mega-reps for WRs is a strength and conditioning issue. Almost impossible for WRs to get the offseason mege-reps (that other elite passing programs provide) without the FULL participation and support of the Strength & Conditioning coach.

No it's not.

By the way, why isn't Burreaux, as the leader of this team, making sure that these guys are getting their reps?
