Miles is loved in Germany. It's been said that he overtook David Hasselhoff in 2009 as favorite american abroad.

Several futbol coaches of the Spanish Primera League were videotaped eating blades of grass off the pitch in recent matches.
The Real Madrid coach was questioned on the odd behavior and only replied "Le Smiles".

No I don't have a link.

Most people think negatively about Les Miles outside of LA. Much more press is given to his mistakes than his successes. Clean program, graduation rate, development of young men's character, nah lets show a replay of the last 30 sec of the Tenn game. Thats all people see. If we don't turn it over 5 times that last 30 sec never happens. Miles is a good coach but a great man!

You might want to look where he stands among coaches all-time in the SEC (among coaches with more than a couple of seasons). At least since the Neyland Era (circa 1952), he stands behind only Neyland, Bryant, Spurrier (at Fla.), and Meyer. Not bad company

didn't even think of it that way. good call
