I like this. I'm of the belief that Magee will be the main guy at first, but Leonard will be too damn good to not be our horse by the end of the year.

Magee will get more than Hilliard. He's earned it. I think the season will start out something like this:
Magee 50%
Fournette 30%
Hilliard 20%

And end like this:
Fournette 50%
Magee 30%
Hilliard 20%

Williams' carries will be negligible if he doesn't redshirt

Eta: so my season average is:
Magee 40%
Fournette 40%
Hilliard 20%

So I guess I agree with Salmon

increase Fournette to over 50% and swap Hillard and Magees percentages and I think you are pretty close.

Last year Hill had 203 carries of LSUs 523.

Nest year LSU will likely run the ball even more...no way Fournette will get 250+ carries as a freshman.

First 3 games.
Magee - 50
Hilliard/Fournette - 25/25

Rest of season
Fournette - 50
Hilliard/Magee - 25/25

LSU will rush the ball 40 times a game next year and pass about 25.

Day 1 will look something like this...Magee (15), Hilliard (10), Fournette (10), Team (5)

By season's end, it will look like this...Magee (15), Fournette (15), Hilliard (5), Team (5)

If Fournette is the next coming of Herschel Walker, then add 5 more carries to Fournette out of Magee's numbers. I'm too lazy to give percentages.

I think it will be a lot like 2012 with Hill except LF will contribute earlier.

Fournette 47% to good to not use often. Miles
(and every other coaches) kind of back.

Magee 31% to good to not get his carries also

Hillard 17% should be quicker and more determined this year. Will get his chances to show what he's got.

6% left over. Add to which ever of these guys exceeds expectations

Williams good back but not his turn yet

Neighbors has a great knack for finding the right defendor to hit and making significant contact with them.

Can't predict percentages but I think Hillard will split time with Neighbors at FB so 20% carries may not be indictative of how much actual playing he gets. A two back set with both Hillard and Fournette is intriguing !

I laugh at all the people thinking Fournette gets less carries than Hillard and Magee.

It would be one hell of a waste if Fournette didn't get a large percentage of the carries.

Besides, isn't Magee a change of pace RB for LSU?

I think that is one of the roles he is going to play, but his skill set is much more than that. He's not really a 3rd down scatback (sproles) type.

His ability to bounce to the outside for LSU is tremendous.

It would also be nice to see him in the pass out of the backfield/screen game.

I'm only reading this thread so I can see if someone's percentages don't add up to 100%
