Considering it. It seems kind of boring to just watch practice though

Can't make it to the spring game on Sat, so I'll be there

I went last year and maybe the year before that.. Can't remember. But it's not bad. Les Miles talks to all the students and you get to watch the players go through drills and 2 minute drills and what not.
Pretty boring to the average fan but if you are really interested in how the players are coming along it's a pretty good first hand experience.

It'd be cool to meet the Mad Hatter in person. Probably wishful thinking though.

This is how the day will play out on the rant:
1) Students will go to practice
2) some students who are posters on the rant will come on
here and post about the QB situation ( where's Rettig, AJ
puts too much air on his passes, etc)
3) The rant gets into a pissing match about the QBs

LSU keeps publicizing this on twitter with pictures from the previous one. Looks like the football team cheering students running 40s or drills or something. what's up wit hthat?

Haven't been to one of the open practices yet. It'd be nice to see some football in case something happens with the spring game.
Yeah I don't like that. I just wanna watch the team go through drills.

Yeah I think last year after the practice ends you can wait around and get autographs from the players and then do some of the drills.
I left before that lame shite occurred. I just wanted to see them play.

It's in the indoor facility right?

Last two years I've been we get instructions in the indoor facility then go outside and watch practice then after you go back inside the indoor facility and thats where Les Miles gives a speech and you get autographs and shite I believe.

Are you saying they will cancel the spring game if there's rain?

I'm saying if it rains many people might not go, including myself.

Gotcha. We're still trying to decide if we're going to drive down tomorrow. Been planning to take our 2 year old down for a little weekend getaway (BR zoo, spring game, baseball game) but this damn rain forecast all weekend is the throwing a wrench in our plans.

Even if it does get cancelled you can stay and go to the womens NCAA tournament gymnastics meet at 4.
They are actually pretty cool to watch.
