Open Containers in Omaha (FYI)

Been in Omaha for most of the summer and as the CWS has been getting closer the local radio and news stations have more frequently broadcasted that open containers and MIPs will be "strongly enforced" around the stadium. There are vendors outside the stadium which you can purchase alcohol at but you have to keep it within their area (they call these parameters "beer gardens") or you risk getting a citation.

This is my first CWS so i dont know ALL the details... but i figured i would pass this along to give a heads up.

I remember when I was just drinking outside of Rosenblatt in 2009. Never crossed my mind that the rules are different outside of BR

But the cop just asked me to throw that beer away and find a place where it was allowed. Lucked out.
