Only thing that matters in regards to NCAA seeding

I don't care if we are a 2 seed or an 8 seed, you just don't want to be paired with Duke. Duke is the only team in this field that seems next level. It's Duke and everyone else. Virgina, TENN, Gonzaga, UNC, Mich, MSU, etc are all flawed teams that player to player we matchup with. Is Duke unbeatable, no. BUT they are the team that has to beat themselves in order to not win this thing. I really believe that if Duke shows up and plays how they want to, they won't lose a game.
I want to see us play Duke, but not before the Final 4. And truthfully I don't think that is a bad thing to admit. Would be a downer to get a 4 seed and see Duke in the sweet 16. Little less unhappy if we are a 2/3 and see them in the elite 8.

I’m going to be excited just to be back and playing in March Madness. Having said that and getting greedy, I’d prefer to be a 3 or 6 seed and not a 4 or 5. Just to delay playing a potential 1 seed. I mean I’ll take a 2 seed, don’t get me wrong, but that’s a long shot. Unfortunately, I think we end up a 4 seed and in the dreaded East bracket.

Yes I hear what youre saying and agree somewhat but there are other teams that are bad matchups for LSU. Like I really would not like to see Auburn in the tournament. The higher the seed the less likely you see some of those teams.

Well I think Gonzaga is really good this year. They did beat Duke by 10.

Duke has the best A game in college basketball. Usually that is the team to bet on going into the tourney. But they are beatable. LSU does have the horses to Make that a game, so you never know. All these close games would help

Duke shoots 31.3% from 3 this year. We can beat them if we play well, not even lights out, just well.

Gonzaga also hasn’t played a really good team in awhile. Watched them against Lmu and San Diego not that impressive

But he's right - nobody should want any part of Duke until the Final Four, or NC game. If we have to play them, then sure, we'll man up and do our best.
But no rational fan really wants Duke in their region.

Seeding is crucial, especially for a young team like ours. I know they think they can beat anybody, but in the tournament you get down and it could be over real fast! We need to use these last few games to start playing some complete games and not just wait until the second half!

LSU matches up really well vs Duke. This original statement is ignorant and shows how little you know of college basketball.
If you watched Gonzaga this season you know they're very capable of shooting LSU out the gym.
