That bodes well for LSU...I can't count the number of times Herbie has said they wouldn't win....and they won. Remember, herbie early last year was saying LSU was a 7-5 team, and he was one of the last ones to put them in the HIS top 25. Herbie is arrogant, and made to look foolish by Miles, and he will carry that ego against lsu for some time to come.

Herbie is an idiot. All members of the media are idiots. John Chavis doesn't make the list of top defensive minds is a joke. 20 years of consistent top 10 national defenses and he's not there. Chavis is easily ahead of Muschamp and Mark Stoops on track record alone and should be up there in the same arena as Saban, Patterson, and Pelini IMO.

This. I'm convinced that the Rant is composed of mostly 13 year olds who throw tantrums when someone doesn't give LSU every award and put them at the top of every category.
Herbstreit listed Miles as one of the most underrated coaches in that same article. That's a compliment for those too dumb to realize it. Yet he hates LSU because he didn't list our cornerbacks/DC/etc?

When we played Georgia tech herbie said that was the lock of the post season. He said GT would win by twenty LOL ...and uh miles to Michigan .

Explain this: LSU has ZERO players in the top 100 players in college football, while most media member claims Les Miles to just be lucky and himself an idiot. How are we ranked 4 preseason when you consider these factors?
It makes no sense which is why LSU nation has a right to bitch. The team we choose to passionately follow is ranked in the preseason top 5, but our coach and players get no respect.
If you don't like it, then GTFO.

Just because he has Oregon in his NC game doesn't mean he's predicting them to beat LSU.
This is a 3 vs 4 TOP 5 OCC matchup first game into the season. The loser can still go on to win their conference and get into the NC game. A loss early on to a Top 5 foe doesn't end your season!

Herbie is such a homer to Ohio State. He doesn't look at things objectively. He doesn't like the SEC cause he wasn't good enough to play in it.
