Nope. Sorry, but this isn't exclusive to LSU football. Kentucky basketball fans have a lot of practice at this as well.
Of course I don't like how the LSU season ended, but it was a terrific year. I was so proud to be a fan.

Just sucks it happened in such a big game. But I don't think anyone should be absolutely shocked that that game could get away from one of the teams like it did. The defenses were THAT good this year.
It hurts more because it happened in the BCSCG against our ex-coach and team most tiger fans hate the most.
Time heals all wounds. Eventually this season will be considered one of the greatest in LSU history.

If you like the way, the back half of the season ended and the final game. You are part of the problem. Not the solution. So put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Its awesome to getting dominated in the BCS CG and to lose the #1 player in the state to that same division rival.
Or course the problem is both sides by and large want to see everything in polar extremes. The program is obviously not about to collapse and the current coaching staff has done way more good than bad, but its burying your head in the sand to say the events of 2012 have not been a disaster.

This is a load of CRAP. Any fan base would be extremely dissappointed, to say the least, with the debacle that took place in the BCS championship game. To have the type of season we did only to show up seemingly unprepared in the final game is inexcusable, even if you're the winningest coaches in history, which they are not. "You're only as good as your last performance," a great coach once told me. If that's the case then we need to take a long, hard look at who we are after Jan. 9.

Pretty much right on target.
Most of the guys loosing their water cause we were "8-8 in the SEC" 2 seasons ago after 08 and 09 are the same ones who refuse to put behind a BCSCG loss AFTER going 13-1, 9-0, winning the west and SEC.
I think it's called, I don't care how many games we win or how well we do in the SEC cause if we not 14-0, then I'm gonna act like a spoiled, entitled 2 year old.

But the program had never been better. Everyone thought it was lights out after the ole miss debacle too.
The whole point is that one game doesn't break a program. Not does it even come close to slowing down the momentum.
This recruiting class will be great. Next year is loaded.
There s no way that this year can be seen as anything other than outrageously positive.
This is like thinking that you re going to end up marrying Adriana Lima, and you show up and it's mila kunis. (or whatever order you d like to put that in)
