Daniels’ 885 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns

swear this board can never go one page without bringing up race when discussing JD5 ?
The only race I care about with JD5 is the Heisman race.

It will be tough to stay healthy for a full season with his style
If he can pass with better accuracy and timing, he won't have to run so much.

Arkansas Ole Miss South Carolina Auburn Tennessee QB started the last few games. That's damn near half the league with us and Vandy that brings back their starting QB
That's still not saying much. How many games did all those QB's start?

It sounds silly but Jayden has an infectious smile.
When we are winning, it looks like he is having the time of his life.

I don't think Daniels is a bad QB at all. I actually think he's better than he realizes. By that I mean he has to trust his ability to make throws and cut the ball loose. Trust his WRs to win the 50/50 balls. Trust his WRs to be in the right spot on timing routes. Trust his eyes. Trust his arm to make the deep and intermediate throws and release the ball early so receivers don't have to wait or come back to the ball.
I think that with another off season to get used to his coaches and new teammates he can be more instinctual and not overthink his play. He should have a better, more experienced OL and equal to better receivers. He's set up for a really big season in 23.

Not true. You can like 2 qbs. It’s not an either or …

That’s just the truth
Another truth is that LSU has won a championship before while just having a “fine” college quarterback. In fact, we have even played for the national championship having anything but” fine” quarterbacks.
This is just me, but if i was looking for more consistency I would probably start with some positions that didn’t house the team MVP.

it would be okay if it ended there, but there are some fans that really think the dude completely sucks. I asked some Daniels hater online if his 3800 Total yards (2nd all time by a LSU QB), and 29 total TDs (2nd all time by a LSU QB), was all passing stats and we won the same amount of games, would he consider Daniels a good QB? He never replied to me, because he knew his opinion would be stupid either way he went.
Sure Daniels has some things he can improve on. All the idiots saying he is what he is or that he's a finished product are stupid. If that was the case then Jalen Hurts would have never become what he has become. Aaron Rodgers neither.
Now he has a full off-season and doesn't have to win a starting job. He can focus on improving with his team. He doesn't have to adjust to the SEC speed anymore, nor is he behind a poor OL, learning a new system, or developing chemistry with his receivers.
I think he's going to go back to the days where he just let it fly, like when he was a freshman. This time in more control as his 68.6% cmp is also 2nd all time in LSU history.
WoW!
