Exactly, Corey Raymond stated to ESPN reporters how exciting it was everyday for coaches to work with Orgeron.

Exactly. I'm sure they are excited about it. They think they know best. I also fully expect this to be a program that Assistants use as a stepping stone. Not a sustainable, long-term strategy though.

Sure they did. If O stays and takes less money than Fisher or Herman would, then the assistant pay goes up. Everyone know Orgeron needs the best assistants around him, and LSU will pay to keep them.

Y'all keep wanting to get rid of Bradley Dale... that dude has East Texas on lock. Now is not the time to let Herman get those recruits.

Of course they were. It means they keep their job. It has nothing to do with confidence in his ability

Funny how we went from yesterday with "Aranda and Raymond are gone! UT gonna pay $1.25mil and LSU is screwed because no one would choose LSU+CEO over UT+Herman"

to today...
"No shite, they don't want to have to look for a job"

Actually, it's not really that funny.

LSU has the funds now to pay the most to hire and keep the best assistants on staff. Brilliant!

They'll still have to produce to keep their jobs.

I don't think you understand the meaning of this phrase. It is a good thing for the coaches to be running things.

I really think a weight was lifted with Miles gone and they all had a voice

I think we might have a good thing going

Some LSU fans are ignoring the enormous "unlocked potential" that will be released with Orgeron's hire. Corey Raymond has been telling ESPN reporters for months, how exciting it was to work under Orgeron everyday.

What do you think they would say?.....We don't like him, at the same time Coach O said he is evaluating the coaching staff?

Dumb post.

I'll just bet they are. None of them have to update their resumes now.

Meanwhile, we now have Les Miles' staff with Ed Orgeron at the top. Not what I'd call a significant upgrade over the long haul. So what was the point in firing Miles?

And the cherry on the cake? LSU is paying Miles $10 million to NOT coach. Somewhere right now, Les is laughing his arse off.
