“Would UCF (if undefeated) jump LSU? “

UCF has like a 80th ranked strength of schedule and has played no ranked teams. They’re the Tulane of 1998.

I’d almost rather see UCF get their asses kicked by Bama than to try our hands at them again. Although it would be cool to have a shot at scoring a point on them before the season is up!

Ok, so let see if we agree on the terms, my choice now is I get my arse kicked, or option B) I kick your arse and collect the $200. I'll go with option B. Lol, classic.

Man y'all are pathetic and O never said anything about not having the talent we need to beat bama. He said we need more talent. You people are such little whinny bitches. I bet you all would cry if my sister slapped the shite out of you, and you would have deserved it. A good bitch slap from a tough girl to show you exactly where you stand in life.

Pathetic!

The sad thing about it all is that they're being dead fricking serious, lol. They really think like that and believe they're right. Scary.

You think ANY recruit with both offers from LSU and Bama would come to Baton Rouge after going 0-2 against Alabama?

Yes. We’ve already picked up recruits who were on the sidelines Saturday with offers from both schools. They see a chance to play now and often. Plus they want to help beat Bama.

I don't think I would want to make the playoffs and have to face Bama again. They manhandled the DL and OL I don't see anyway that this could improve enough to make it a game.

Plus would this impact or hurt recruiting if LSU gets handled by Bama twice?

It might help recruiting for local boys that are LSU fans but out of state, I don't see this helping.

We have Lost to Alabama 8 times in a row now. You think that LSU losing to them in a playoff game would sway kids from coming here rather than not play them at all and be left out of the playoff? Wtf? Yeah, if LSU gets selected to the playoffs, let's just be pussies and say we reject that offer and let someone else go bc we don't want to play Bama again. That really sounds like a program that young, extremely competitive, big time football players would want to come be a part of. They wouldn't want to compete at the higest level of the sport, because the opponent we would be matched with has already beaten us this year and we don't believe we could possibly improve or play them any better than we did the first time. Wow.

These recruits could also look at that and say, hell, LSU made it to the playoffs, I could be one of the missing pieces that helps them win a championship and beat alabama...being they're obviously close by making the playoffs this season. They obviously have something good going on over there at LSU, and I want to be a part of it.

If it means playing the same Alabama team that drummed LSU 29-0 then yes. Dominating the sugar bowl going 11-2 gives LSU way more momentum for recruiting and 2019. If we played Alabama again in the semi finals it would be worse than 29-0.

There's something to be said for ending the year on a positive note.
