Milazzo was the only starter not to make an out in the most important game of the year, but I believe Lester Earl knows that. Give Alex his props. Geaux Tigers!

What Cooper did should have given him MOP. But but but people are all knowing on here.

Cooper went 9.2 scoreless, but it wasn’t consecutive, which is a whole lot more difficult.

Go look at the leverage situations he was brought in and what he did. It is about value. Over 4 games.

He knew Cooper would shut everyone down in the CWS after batters hit .315 off of him in back to back years. Guy is a savant.

Wow. Still looking at overall stats instead of down the stretch in leverage with all those ZEROS for both seasons at LSU. He was a mature player with CWS experience that he trusted.

You still haven’t said the right reasons.

He wasn’t any better this season than last. I watched him drop that bull shite arm slot during the tournament run.

Also, he upped his innings BOTH seasons.

How about Milazzo? Want to argue about his .289 BA for the season? Still limping others because your sorry arse was dead wrong.

Everyone is still waiting on you to admit you were dead arse wrong about Dugas ( nippolt will play BS) and your precious kid catcher who hit a fricking wall.

Cooper was MOP for this team at Omaha. Make no mistake about that. Otherwise, you didn’t watch the games.

Agreed. 3 saves and a win. Plus, the way he came in against Tenn. in the first game was nails. High pressure situation and he put them to bed.

No Skenes is about the most stupid possible choice you could make.

Blame it on the format.

I'd have put at least 3 pitchers, if not at least 5 pitchers/relievers/closers into the All-Tourney Team.

That said, outing says Floydliness may be next to godliness.

The “tournament” was more than the championship series. If not for Skenes LSU would not have even been in championship series.

And if not for Cooper and Floyd, LSU doesn't win it.
