I donate to the OLOL witnessing their advertising and knowing it's important. But I give to help the hospital purchase equipment and hire nurses to help take care of children. I'm not very keen on this naming the arena.

The real question is why does a hospital have enough money to buy the naming rights to an arena?

I'm fine with it. OLOL is a huge part of the BTR metro region. If naming rights are the future, this is a better option than sinister lawyers.

Ugghhhh……they can’t purchase equipment/pay nurses with the $240m they’re pissing away on naming rights?

They’re free to solicit donations, but don’t come begging hat in hand when you’re pissing away money on nonsense like this.

Completely agree. Keep the funds in healthcare. And personally, I feel the new arena should continue to honor the name of a legend and remain the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
