LSU - #71.

I still don't feel great about us being able to stop them, but Saturday made me feel really really good about our ability to throw the ball against them.

What is the difference between #71 and #40??? Is it pretty drastic or is it something like 30 yards a game difference? Just curious

Man that’s pretty encouraging. Baker and Co. know what they are doing!

Biggest Difference I've seen this year to last year is that we make adjustments when stuff doesn't work, something last year we never did it seemed

Baker & Co. have also been able to drastically reduce the number of huge chunk plays they give up. They’ve for sure still given some up but nowhere near as bad as last years defense IMO.

After watching most of the Ole Piss game (only because I dropped a ton of money on them covering 17.5), I came away totally unimpressed with their offense and defense.

I originally thought we would get blown out by them, but now I'm thinking we get the W.

We should get a decent idea of their offense Sat when they play USCe. They have the #14 def.

We were able to put up over 400yds and score 36 pts

Every year there are knee jerk reactions about teams playing inferior opponents. Just like South Alabama putting up 87 points in a game...there were people on here thinking it would be a game late.

These teams like OM, they aren't THAT much better than any other year....and I always figured LSU vs OM was going to be a slugfest when we met. I am surprised that SC is a 9 point dog, but their qb is questionable.

Now, people are reacting over Alabama beating GA. Guess what, GA isn't all that....they are very inconsistent, and lost a lot of playmakers. They should have lost to KY as KY dominated them in terms of first down like 2-1. Ga will not make the playoffs imo.

One game at a time from here on out, but OM nor Bama is a guaranteed loss. My only concern is our safeties are really bad, and we lack depth on the DL. I like our Lbs now, as we appear to have some run thumpers in there.

If you look at individual stats, IF we can stop Tre Harris it seems the rest of the game should go well. That IF is huge though.

Ole Miss does this every year - they play shite early schedules. Lane needs to back off the clever tweets this off-season and help his admins schedule smarter. Those 4 teams ain't helping prepare his team for the SEC.
