Won’t get out of the regionals if the bats stay like this.
We will play worse teams than this in a regional, and our starting pitching is actually really favorable in a super format. I don't think this team can win it all in Omaha with our offense though.

These OM pitchers are hittable, seems our batters have the yips.
Gonna have to get it going soon, cant expect to keep OM down to two runs.

Often times slumps are because of exactly what you're seeing here. Long streaks of unlucky swings. However, you have to look at the context of these swings and sometimes they're not on good pitches which contributes to the slump and why they're going straight to someone. LSU has been swinging at A LOT of bad pitches in this tournament and taking the pitches that should be barreled up. They're not seeing the ball well at all.
The worse it gets, the more guys get impatient and press. It can spiral. It’s what we’ve seen at times this season, especially on the road.

Now seems like a good time to call a pick off…need to make sure fat boy isn’t thinking about getting crazy over there

Hitting 101. No need to worry about the soft stuff. Keep pumping in that fastball.

I still can’t believe we never threw over when Laviolette was on first last night.

This is true, but don’t you think just maybe the team’s intensity and focus might be kicked up just a notch next weekend?
I hope you’re right!

We might need Chris Burke and KP to register on TD so they can explain to our fans why Shores won’t be back next year

If Arimbide is going to play in the postseason, he has to make that catch.
