Why is a weak ground ball to 3rd an almost impossible play for us to make but anything to oklahomas 3rd baseman and they turn a double play?

He was double clutching waiting for the 1B to get to the bag.

Our third baseman is slow AF and doesn’t charge the ball. Plus throwing the ball is really hard to do. For us I mean.

This fricking umpire needs his tires slashed

Speaking of, I just realized I was alone at my house for the Earthquake game ending and the Morris walk off. Sucked not having anybody to celebrate with. I wasn’t technically “alone,” but I was at Aussies in Austin by myself and got the bartender to turn on the LSU/Kentucky Blue Grass Miracle game with no sound. Packed bar and I was the only one watching that little tv. Nobody to high-five, hug…shite, it took me a few minutes to make sure it even counted. Those were some big time blue balls I had for 3 of the most iconic moments in LSU sports history.
I got a small taste of that, myself. My now wife and I had been together since the beginning of the Spring Semester and she was sick with the flu and I was taking care of her. Most of our friends had left to go home for the Summer and we were both staying in BR, so I watched at her place in Sharlo. She was in and out most of the game, but was dialed in late.
She went crazy for about 15 seconds and then she was done. She went to bed for the rest of the day.
I actually ran outside right after and cars were honking, people were running around. I was high fiving people I had never met before or would again. But once that was over in 5 mins or so, that was it. I was alone the rest of the day. That kinda sucked, but it was impossible to be in a bad mood after watching that.

Damn, that 2-2 pitch should have gotten us back to the dugout. 2 singles later, and Schmidt’s in trouble again. Only 79 pitches, but they’ve been stressful.

In a close game, that’s the subtle thumb on the scale, which can tip the teapot

Nice pitch. Close him out, Schmidt.
