So he gets on base a lot, doesn't strike out much, works counts, but he apparently doesn't swing at every strike thrown in an at bat. Ok guy
The fact he watches a lot of strikes and doesn’t strike out a lot is more reason why he needs to be hunting earlier. Hitters hit. Big bats getting walked is not always the win.

Because Guidry cost us a game last week and all they've seen so far is Evans really who throws way harder than Cowan.

He hasn’t played ball since 5th grade.

He watched some very hittable strikes in his first two ABs tonight. That’s true. But he’s been better since and that isn’t the norm for him.
This guy is trying to stretch that into some crazy narrative across multiple games.

us drawing walks is literally the only reason we have a big lead right now :lol;

Guessing you have never been around a baseball coach that teaches “not every strike is a good strike”???
To a very small degree. Coaches also coach kids to be aggressive and open the zone up cause the shitty umpires sure do

First 4 runs… no hits. lol

Sure but you’re piggybacking off of yorke swinging which is what I want

Oklahoma just needs to get out of this game and not waste any good pitching.

Are we mad that Jake took a lead off walk without a hit to his name tonight? I know one guy probably is.
I’m not.
I’m not.

and if Yorke swung at the first pitch strike and popped up, I'm sure you'd be cool with his "aggressive approach" right?

Where did this 7-1 lead touch you?

Man Okalhoma has the market cornered on black pitchers
