Ok... set aside all Tiger bias... realistically how do you expect Bama-LSU game to go?

Bama looks REAL good but, they haven't played anyone yet.. w/exception of A & M... who is any good.
I wish we could run the ball on them and keep their offense off the field for the 1st half..
I think IF our DB's can cover their WR's one-on-one and, if we can get some pressure on TUA...
If Burrow can connect on a couple of deep balls... we have a chance...

Anybody in the SEC has a chance in any game against anyone else...that being said, Alabama has not been tested..we have passion and pissed on our side at home. Tua is injured and so is Hirts....We have way more than a chance.

Offense needs to have a 2012 type effort with very few defensive breakdowns. If it comes down to special teams we’ll be in a good spot.

27-24 LSU

Bama misses last second field goal to tie and the crowd rushes the field and throws piss balloons at Saban

It’s funny how no one is giving LSU a chance, but have ALWAYS kept it close with bama and a few games coming down to them having the ball last.... LSU definitely has the defense to slow their offense down, and finally has a QB that can make plays and extend plays, I think with this being a home game the tigers win 24-21!

Bama has looked unbeatable. I hope it's just the schedule they have played. Their running game isn't as impressive as usual and I don't think their defense is as dominating as it has been. I am afraid we will only rush 4 and let Tua have all day...if that happens we get blown out. If we can pressure him and not let him kill us with his running I think we can win. I think the defense is the biggest key...allow over 24 and we probably lose.

If and this is a HUGE IF, our receivers can catch the ball and we can keep their offense off the field, I like our chances. It will be like every other LSU/Bama game. TOO DAMN CLOSE. 14 point spread? take the points! Easy money.

Bama's allowing 113 yards on the ground. I think we'll see similar problems running the ball as we faced vs MSU.

Have to beat them in the air. They're 33rd in pass defense. Joe has to have an Ole Miss type of performance for us to keep up with these guys.

Realistically it's going to take a lot more than a couple deep balls from Burrow. I think our O Line is going to get handled similar to Miss St and Burrow will be harassed most of the game. Ensminger is going to have to prove himself this game. Have to get the ball out of Burrows hands quick. Bama will most likely score in the 30's which will be tough for us to keep up with. Non Tiger bias score 31-21 Bama. Tiger Bias Score 28-21 Tigers. I am basing the non tiger bias score off of us executing damn near perfectly, no turnovers , us forcing a couple turnovers, low penalties.

Don’t believe that for one second. A sore knee is not an injury. That kid will go out and throw for 350 on a sore or sprained knee

I would like to agree but I can't. I don't care what anybody says there is a talent discrepancy in the trenches. while we do have a chance to win, it is unlikely.

we have to play a damn near perfect game and get some breaks (which never seems to happen against bama).

IF my aunt had nuts she'd be my uncle.

I'm all for LSU -- but it's hard to see all those "if's" working to LSU favor.

Out DLine will not likely be able to pressure Tua... quick release and good OLine for pass protection... coupled with "average" pass rush from LSU DLine.

Our secondary is great... but so are their WRs --- and we have given up many "explosive" plays... another advantage Alabama.

Joe Burrow has been a God send... but with pressure he's looked pretty average... so it will take a whole new level of Offensive output to stay with them.

LSU's best and (IMO) only chance to win is to feed off emotion, weather the storm and find a way to create turnovers... keep the momentum on the LSU side and put it on Cole Tracy to kick LSU victory.

I'd line up Avery Atkins and try to steal and on-sides kick too... "steal" a possession, because the down side is what? Bama scores a quick, shorter field TD.... they've scored on long pass plays in each and every game, so probably not much difference in making them go 75 yards vs 50 yards to score and the upside is stealing a possession and momentum for LSU to score from a shorter field.

It's an up hill battle for LSU... but

I think there's two likely scenarios.

Scenario 1: Bama is as good as advertised, they dominate from the first snap, and win something like 35-10.

Scenario 2: LSU fights hard and grinds the game out, keeping it low scoring and close going into half, LSU uses the (likely) big momentum coming out of the half to punch Bama in the mouth, Bama hasn't been in a dogfight all year, they make a few mistakes, and LSU thrives in a raucous tiger stadium to stay in the game all the way to the end. In this scenario I'd say it's a one score game coming down to the end and hopefully LSU is the team that ends on top. 20-14 Tigers.

Tbh, I have no idea.

They really look like world beaters but they also haven’t played anyone with a pulse.

Maybe they show up and prove to be as good as advertised.

Maybe they get hit in the mouth and turn out to be just a pretty good team and not the unstoppable force they appear to be.

Only time will tell.

I think we can win, but we have to jump on them early and shell shock them. The crowd is going to have to play a big part.

The only time they did give us a chance this year was the Florida game. I am glad we are being disrespected yet again...
