When Orgeron does that, we can start talking

Hes looking at Herman, Malzhan, Mullen, Saban, and Jimbo, plus a possible P5 bowl opponent.

We may be talking sooner than you expect

World class delusion

Man, you're going to be so pissed when LSU goes 11-1 this year.

Jimbo, Herman and Malzahn are looking at rough seasons

We also had Miles, doing the same. We fired him because of it

You told us in the other thread that Jimbo had a bad season last year ...

Yet beat LSU, in a bad year? Not a great point to make

No. Miles lost 5 of his last nine games. 10 of his last 28. Orgeron has a better record over that same gamespan at LSU.

Bottom line is Coach O is progressing and making changes in the offense for the better. Les Miles was stuck in the 1950s… 3 yards and a cloud of dust mentality. He was not going to change… It seems like he was incapable of embracing any type of change. I appreciate the time that he was here but he could not survive today’s SEC.

No.

Please correct me if I am mistaken, but didn't Meyer tag Patrick Peterson's ACT score, as it improved from 16 to 22. That meant Patrick could not be an early entry player, and had to wait until that summer to enroll.

Even without that, previous posters have provided enough other good reasons.

What is with you and cherry-picked stats lately?

EdO has now lost 3 of his last 8 (.625). Should we judge him on that too?

Add to the list: fakes heart problems whenever he tuns into trouble. Torched Florida to the ground when he ran into trouble.

Only in your world is 3 of 8 nearly as bad as 5 of 9. .625 to .444

We will see

Cant claim LSU is improving, until there is evidence. Right now we have the same results 2 years in a row, other than not losing to a mid-major. Which isn't really 'improvement' now is it?

in '16 he lost to Saban, and UF
in '17 he lost to @Mullen, @Saban, and Kelly (+Troy)
in '18 he lost to @Mullen, Saban, and @Jimbo
in '19 he still plays Mullen, @Saban, and Jimbo. Now add @Herman and a bowl opponent

Urban is gonna flame out at USC. Don't want that at LSU.
