There are other teams with good records that won't get that seed. The SEC is still the 6th best conference. Our RPI punishes us for our weak schedule and if we win out, we will be top 15ish RPI and deserving of a top 4 seed.

Just because the SEC is weak doesn't mean it is awful. 13-1 is still impressive. Nobody is saying Memphis can't do damage because they play in CUSA.

SEC is a major conference so it gets some respect for that. Name me another team that has a better record than LSU does that is not ranked ahead of us. You would have to go out to a pretty small school indeed.
Memphis does not play it's conference foes close game after game. They blow them off the court. While it has been exciting to watch LSU this season. They just do not match up against the major college basketball teams this year.

Just to weak inside and thin on the bench. Need Daddy Dale and the Freak defense to pull of a final 4 performance. Sweet 16 is very possible considering Taz and MT just dont let this team loose. A lose to Vandy wouldnt be the worst thing in the world going into the tourney. SEC is not as bad as the critics say in my opinion.
