To Rutgers yesterday. Rutgers who is 2-8 and lost 35-0 to Indiana and then 48-6 to Maryland. So the way people on this board try to use the transitive property Ohio State is worse on D than those two.
But you cannot, it does not work that way. Defense was bad last night and not very good this year at times but they have stepped up when needed at times. We can stay in games this year with our offense as opposed to the other way around as in the past. Quit calling for Aranda to be fired, you just look stupid.

Geaux Tigers!

Rutgers scored 14 on our backups and a touchdown on our 1s after a muffed punt on our 20 yard line.

So there's that.

OSU was up 49-7. I doubt their starters were in for the other 14 pts

Yeah and LSU had 2/3 string in after half because they were up 4 scores. Moot point

You were also a 53 point favorite. The LSU spread was 21 and won by 21 even as concerning as the defense looked at times.

OSU had their backups in when Rutgers got their garbage time TDs. LSU did not.

You had backups in for an 11 point game in the 3rd quarter?

They had backups in up 20+ pts. First half when they started running successfully against us.

You look stupid because you are not getting the overall point. I know OSU has a better defense so far this year.

That seems very odd.

Rutgers last score came against scrubs with less than 3minutes to play after the Buckeyes fumbled on their own 30.

So Maryland has no backups in up over 40 against Rutgers.

This back up argument is just stupid. It’s a team. We have guys getting more time due to score at half, slight injuries, etc.

Nonsense backup arguments in a football game are just dumb

Why is that odd to rotate underclassmen into the game when you’re in contention for a playoff spot to gain experience? I’m assuming the great OSU doesn’t do that? Problem with LSU is the D is depleted by injuries and the depths they have to rotate is somewhat suspect. Thus they let ole miss drag their nuts on them all evening.

So you admit your team gave up 38 to Vandy now? All i've heard on here was you only gave up 24 before garbage time

Because you could have lost that game last night?

When osu starters were in they gave up 7 pts on a muffed punt!!! 14 pts came on back ups and only gave up a total of 230 yards with mostly against 2 and 3rd strong defense
