Oh, I see. He played last year and was retained by the team. I would think the answer would be yes. Let me go look at lsusports and see if they list schollies too. brb

I'm glad he called a spade a spade. The Gumps can whine all they want but I seem to remember Miles calling out the PAC 10 last year and winning the NC. Spurrier called out teams like this and then handed their asses to them. Miles will do the same this year. LSU is one seriously underrated team this year and Bama's "future" talent want save them.

Really cause Miles' super hillarious joke calling Arkansas "R Kansas" worked really well for him last year. It seemed to be all D-Mac could talk about when they interviewed him on the field after the game.

By the way, I'm not a huge Bama fan. I have family that attended Alabama so I do cheer for them, but my wife attended LSU so, as you can imagine, I am also partial to LSU. Just because I am not a complete purple and gold kool-aid drinker who doesn't buy the hype about anything and everything that happens at LSU doesn't make me a "huge Bama fan."

Your 1st day on the Rant:

Congrats on your track and field national titles. I think Alabama will take all of their football titles, that is after all the main sport of concern here.

I love the reactions from the Bama fans! Priceless!

quote:

The players have got to be foaming at the mouth. This is bad. No respect whatsoever. Les Miles doesn't know his place. LSU must pay for this.

quote:

Did Les forget who recruited all that talent he inherited? What coach set him up with a "gimme" National Championship? and did he not look at his current roster and notice that this year is the beginning of the end? I will give them(LSU) one more good year and then lets see how much les talks and if he does will there be any media there to cover his remarks.

These guys are so clueless! We are going to be them for the next few years with all of the sick talent that we have just developing and waiting to take center stage. They are going to keep wondering how we are doing it! I can't wait. They just assume that since Saban is gone, LSU can't possibly be any good. Well, he left 3 years ago and this is our 4th season without him, and we put 14 players on the All-SEC teams - more than anyone else, by the way. The talent in Baton Rouge is just growing and after this class comes in, it will be even greater.

Wake up, Bama.

So I said "your" in reference to LSU track and field. Wow, you caught me. I hate LSU and love Alabama and the Bear. Any other brain busters? I think it is pretty safe to say that Alabama would take all their national titles, real or made up, Alabama fans believe in them. I think any school would take football titles over track and field. Am I wrong? Call me whatever you want, but I told you who I am. If I was a huge Alabama fan, when I said "your" about LSU, I guess I should have said "we" in reference to Alabama. And have you been stalking me since my first day on the rant? That's kinda odd.

Last year he called out USC, this year Bama. Bama should feel honored. USC had a good year last year.

how dare a coach have personality!

It would be different if he's saying this directly to reporters, trying to talk trash to another team. All he did was make a joke for his audience (LSU fans).

Poor Bama. They were 0-1 against Alabama teams and 0-2 against Louisiana teams in the savior's first year. I'll say this for Saban, he's no Bear Bryant. And his gig in Miami proved that he's no Bill Bellichick either.

If Bama doesn't beat Auburn or win the SEC this year, look for Saban to leave Bama looking for another coach and savior. LSU won the SEC and beat Auburn in his second year in Tigertown and won the Sugar Bowl too. Why should Bama fans expect anything less of Saban this year? Of course we have to take into consideration that Saban did it at LSU with DiNardo's players.

Bama fans continue to in live the past and brag about the future because the present sucks. It's been said that a Bama fan and a maggot can both live off a dead bear for 50 years. I'm not sure about the maggot.
