I have never understood why we didn't run the Brady offense last year.

We didn't have the experienced players to run it.
Freshmen Wrs, Running Backs, Quarterbacks, and no Spring/summer practice won't cut it.

I'm more concerned with who is going to be our every down running back.
No one capable is in spring practice.

It IS going to be up to the players to teach him the offense!

Also gonna need a lot of help from Mangas, Josephs, and any other 2019 veterans to teach him play calling.

I just moved back to Baton Rouge and joined this forum. Reading over these posts and catching up on the new hires has me thinking about 2019 and Coach E.

Time will tell, but I believe Joe Brady was a better coach BECAUSE he had a great TEACHER in Coach E to make him look SO good. Coach E isn’t an egotistical man and let Brady take a lot of credit when most coaches would take all the credit for themselves. I have known this man for a very long time. MANY of you have forgotten just how GREAT Coach E was, but Burrow and any true LSU fans won’t ever forget him! Coach E was the GOAT! He was the one in charge of OC for 2019—-but he never cared about the attention being on him. Never has! Anyone who knows him definitely knows he is not about fame—-just winning the game. He loves the game and his players.

Im not saying Brady didn’t help coach up Burrow, (even though Burrow mentioned he had plenty of coaching at Ohio) BUT Coach E was the man in charge of OC and one of the main reason for our championship (plus the overall team chemistry and experienced players). I think our team is gonna be screwed without Coach E around. Our offense wasn’t the main problem last year—defense was a much bigger problem. And, we had so many new talented players who had some rough beginnings with stronger endings. It was a strange year for everyone! So many new players and staff.

But the REAL question is—- Who is Peetz going to look to for help? Haven’t heard a word about Coach E returning or being on field for spring practice bc he had enough and got screwed over! I doubt he will be coaching at all. Reports said he was an analyst, and that is a slap in the face. No one has said a word about seeing him at practices. Has he shown up? Somebody better come up with some $$$ and a better title to get Coach E back to LSU—maybe call him “Captain of Training New OCs” to help Peetz.

It’s up to Coach O, the players, any 2019 staff to help Peetz out bc he is a first timer with NO OC experience and NO Coach E for much needed guidance!

Praying he can pull it off. Heard his family isn’t living here yet, so Peetz doesn’t have any distractions right now at all until they all arrive in Baton Rouge. Then...?
